    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
    Ormond Beach, FL – April 26th, 2021

Adams, Cameron & Co.,Realtors participated in the Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors (DBAAR) annual Cornhole Tournament! Benefitting The Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC), the festivities were held at the DBAAR outdoor space on Saturday, April 24th, 2021.

"The 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament at the Daytona Beach Area Association of REALTORS was really a fun way for us as real estate agents to raise money for RPAC!” DBAAR immediate past-President and Adams Cameron agent, Harold Briley says. “This is just one of our many fundraisers that we do for RPAC, and it is great to see our members participating and enjoying themselves!” He enthused.

Amongst the event’s participants were Adams Cameron agents: Chad Shultz, Michelle Ellis, Harold Briley, Jeff Wright, and Christy & Paul Reuter. Robin Kovanda and Allison Anderson from Adams Cameron Title Services also participated. “Spending time with the Realtors and our Team was a lot of fun and it was great to come together for a very important cause.” Ormond Beach and Port Orange Sales Manager, Marge Allison said, who was also present to cheer her agents on!

Taking home the 1st Place trophy was husband and wife team, Christy and Paul Reuter! “We had so much fun!” Christy reminisces. “We were told that of all the teams, we had the best intimidating team name!” She says jovially. Ironically named, “Cameron of the Corn,” Christy and Paul took the lead at the very last second! Previously participating in last year’s event, where they came in 3rd place, it was a sweet victory to win 1st this year! “I give a lot of credit to my husband for our win!” Christy says. “He was consistent!” She complimented.

Christy’s favorite part of the tournament was playing for charity and meeting all the new teams! “The last two teams we played were both really good! We just had so much fun this year!” She gushes.

Looking back at her victory was bittersweet. Christy’s biggest fan and coach, her father, passed away unexpectedly in January and made even the thought of entering the tournament a challenge. “He coached my competitive ball teams for 10 years when I was growing up!” Christy remembers. “When he suddenly passed, I found it extremely difficult to continue doing the things I loved because it all reminded me of him! However, when I decided to enter this tournament, I knew he was with me, coaching me in spirit!” She says fondly.

It was that positive spirit that inspired “Cameron of the Corn” to go from a 3rd place finish in last year’s game to a 1st place victory this year! “We had so much fun and met some really great people!” Teammate and Ormond Beach agent Michelle Ellis said.

"It is always a good day when you can support a good cause and be with friends!" Ormond Beach agent Chad Shultz chimed in. Adams, Cameron & Co., Realtors is always proud to share the achievements of its agents and honored to be actively involved in community charities and local events!
