FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ormond Beach, FL – November 18, 2020
Featured in their special Real Estate section, “Brooklyn Eagle Spotlight on Space,” Kim was honored to be interviewed as a native Brooklynite, now Daytona Beach transplant. “I contacted them about putting an ad in the local Brooklyn paper and they wanted to do a story on me!” Kim says.
Apart from the gorgeous seasonal weather that inspired Kim to make the move to Florida years ago, she found that the local real estate industry had significant appeal. “Our property taxes are lower, sales tax is lower and there is no income tax.” Peran shared.
Now happily relocated to Plantation Bay with her husband, Kim chose her community because of the many similarities her neighborhood shares with her old Brooklyn home. “Like Brooklyn, Florida is a series of many small towns, the communities become home!” Kim added.
One of Kim’s favorite aspects of living in Florida is the occasional meeting with a fellow Brooklyn native! “Whenever I meet someone from Brooklyn in Florida, it’s like being back home again. We talk about the neighborhoods, the schools and churches, but mostly, we talk about the food!” Kim enthuses. The greatest thing about moving to Florida, specifically the Daytona Beach area, is that Kim never feels too far from Brooklyn. Whether she’s showing property to her clients or enjoying a new restaurant, she’s sure to find and connect with fellow New Yorkers. “In Florida, I still find Brooklyn connections, especially foodwise!” Enjoy the full article here!
