The Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine is Available at Shekinah Health & Wellness Center

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. -- The one-shot Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine, which is no longer on pause, is available at Shekinah Health and Wellness Center in Ormond Beach.

“We are excited to have the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine available onsite as the recommended pause has been lifted,” says Moline Blanc, CEO, MSBS, and PA-C. “We will continue to do our part as a medical facility to help individuals feel safe to socialize again and help our community safely recover,”

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) are highly confident that the Janssen Covid-19 vaccine is safe and effective in preventing COVID-19.

Melissa Kavanagh, one of the first patients to receive the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine at Shekinah Health before the pause, feels very safe to socialize again. "I am a real estate agent, so I interact with people every day. By getting vaccinated, I am doing my part to help lower our mortality rate so we can go back to a sense of normalcy," says Ms. Kavanagh.

The one-shot Janssen COVID-19 vaccine is available at no direct cost to patients on a first-come, first-serve basis and by appointment only. Please call 386-206-2929 to schedule your appointment.  Check out a video (https://bit.ly/3hms6VF) of Ms. Blanc administering the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine.

COVID-19 testing continues to be available.
Shekinah Health continues to conduct both the Covid-19 viral load (RT-PCR) and antibody testing. The viral load test is performed through the nose or throat swabbing to diagnose COVID-19. The antibody is a blood test that determines if you had COVID-19 before and have antibodies against the virus. Patients receive test results within 2-4 days after taking the test.
