Ormond Beach Youth Leadership Program
The Ormond Beach Chamber has developed a Youth Leadership program that we think will blend both workforce and leadership.
Participants in Youth Leadership Ormond Beach will gain knowledge of the community while building relationships with like-minded peers. Through interactions with local business leaders and government officials they gained valuable insights. In turn, provided these students with a solid appreciation and understanding for their community. The intent of the program is to help graduates build strong connections that keep the Ormond Beach community in their hearts and minds, whatever path they ultimately choose after their high school graduation.
Sessions mirror our Leadership Ormond Beach program, however, are amended to topics that will engage our youth and highlight local internships and career opportunities at each session. Each student earns community service hours they can apply to their Bright Future Scholarships. Program takes place in the Fall on Early Release days. Contact Debbie Cotton, dcotton@ormondchamber.com
